Wow! What a fantastic night.

Richard was ordained into the Ministry by the Chair of the ASU of Churces’ College, Rev Barbara Moxham as a Reverend Minister.  Helen opened the Service and handed over to the Rev Barb to conduct the Ordination Service. Rev. Richard then held a short Service with songs, a meditation and short demonstration after a talk thanking everyone involved in the Service and Ceremony and the past several years. Rev Richard has spent a long time reaching for and attaining this wonderful achievement of being Ordained and a hearty congratulation was offered from all present.

There was a wonderful gathering of almost 40 people to witness Richard’s Ordination and, we feel sure, a good time was had by all present.  After the Service we all shared in a cuppa and nibblies and Rev Richard cut a cake to celebrate his ordination.

Many of the regular attenders helped out in individual ways and thanks to them too. Sandwiches made, hall readied and cleared, and of course the special duties carried out during the Ordination when Richard was presented as a candidate by two who have been with us since the inciption of the Spiritualist Church of Bowral; and the reading of the Seven Principles by another committed member. Much thanks to many people indeed.

 Congratulations Reverend Richard Milne and well done! May your continued work be as well received as that you have already given with much Love Light and Compassion to those who hold you dear to thier hearts.

What a wonderful night we had. Helen had her Naming Ceremony, conducted by Richard as part of his ordination training. But the night was for Helen. Below is her naming certificate; minus the heading lines.

We had a wonderful night and Helen was a very happy lady. All Love and Light to her on this special night. We had over 15 persons present to see her bestowed with her Spiritual Name. We look forward to her chairing next month’s service for Richard’s Ordination (18th Oct) We hope to see you all there

LOVE AND LIGHT TO YOU ALL IN ALL YOU DO EVERYWHERE YOU MAY BE 

We had a wonderful evening with Trish MacClachlin as our guest medium. We were blessed with her insightful talk and her demonstration of medumistic abilities. 

It was great to see several new faces in our midst; welcome to each and every one. It was a convivial night with different people selecting songs to sing and a lovely time of chatting and introductions over a cuppa after the meeting closed.  Thank you to all who made it such a wonderful evening.

Announcements included Helen’s Spiritual Naming Ceremony to be held on 20 Sept and Richard’s Ordination Service on Oct 18. Also Micheal Bray will be facilitating  a seminar on Angel Healing Energies. Cost is $45/person and times are 10am to 4pm Please book in advance as numbers will be limited.

We had a wonderful evening with approx eight people present. Helen in her role as Assistant Minister; led the service with Richard assisting and taking on the role of Helen’s responsibilities such as music and the Chrystal reading.

Helen did the Medium’s address and both Helen and Richard shared the readings; ensuring all present received a reading. We enjoyed a cuppa and good chat after the service and everyone enjoyed a good evening of sharing in love and light with like minded persons.

Saturday evening’s 7 pm service saw over a dozen people come to share in love and light with Rev Rosscoe Hutchisson as guest Medium.  Rosscoe gave a talk that he wrote on the journey down from Katoomba that almost mirrored what Richard and Helen had talked of and the songs played before his message. Helen did her crystal talk and then did the healing prayer and read the names of those written in the absent healing book. Richard did the guided meditation. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and thank Rosscoe for his gift of himself and his enthusiasm in all that he does during a service (Despite the fact he is still recovering from several broken ribs from a horse accident).

Also visiting was Rev Micheal English, who is conducting a seminar on Past Life Regressions on Sunday 22nd June. Also Margret Pryce, who accompanied and drove Rosscoe to and from Penrith via Katoomba. Thanks Margret!!

During announcements Richard advised that the committee (which met prior to the evening service) had agreed that due to lack of numbers; the Saturday afternoon services on the first Saturday of each month would be canceled.  It was suggested and accepted to trial a change to a shorter length for a meditation group with a $10 fee per person. We will trial this until Sept to gauge the response. One of the Committee Members has kindly agreed to create print and distribute a flyer for the Meditation Group.

GO ALWAYS IN LOVE N LIGHT IN ALL YOU DO

ONCE AGAIN WE HAD ONLY ONE PERSON TURN UP FOR THE SATURDAY AFTERNOON SERVICE. DESPITE THE LARGER GROWING NUMBERS OF THE EVENING SERVICES; WE CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE WITH THE AFTERNOON SERVICE. SO THE QUESTION NEEDS TO BE ASKED IF A SECOND EVENING SERVICE IS WHAT IS CALLED FOR. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THE FACT THAT MITTAGONG CHURCH MEETS ON THE FIRST SATURDAY EVENING OF EACH MONTH. WE THEREFORE, WOULD BE IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH THAT CHURCH IF WE CHANGED OUR FORMAT. WE WILL DISCUSS THIS AT THE COMMITTEE LEVEL TO SEE WHAT IDEAS ARE FORTHCOMING.

THANKS FOR THE ONGOING AND CONTINUED COMMITMENT OF THE LADY WHO TURNED UP TO ASSIST IN THE SERVICE; AS SHE DOES EVERY CHURCH MEETING AND HAS FOR ALMOST EVERY DEVELOPMENT GROUP SINCE SHE JOINED OUR LITTLE FAMILY.

WE DO INTEND TO KEEP GOING DESPITE ALL AND ANY OBSTACLES PLACED IN OUR WAY. IT MAY MEAN A CHANGE FOR THE SHORT-TERM TO ENABLE CONTINUATION; BUT CONTINUE WE WILL!!

Our afternoon service started on a not so great note with Richard being ill and unable to attend. Thankfully Trish MacClachlin filled in as guest medium at the last moment and on very short notice. Unfortunately only Helen, Trish and our dear friend and helper were the only three people there. So regretfully, after waiting for an appropriate period to be sure no others were in fact a little late in arriving, they made a cup of tea and packed up and went home……………… A first for our little Church, no attendees to hold a service for. We are deeply saddened by this indeed!!!

Lets hope the next service on 17 May at 7:00pm is a little better attended.

Please send out Love and Light to the universal energies and ask for our attendances to increase as we need for this to happen to keep our little family viable.

LOVE N LIGHT BE ALWAYS WITH YOU ALL

Wow what can be said to adequately describe such a wonderous night??

It was a wonderful night full of joy, laughter, singing, sharing, love, energy and Light. We had a lot of visitors and some familiar tho missed faces as well as familiar regular faces. It was a joy to see them all.

A beautiful gift of a crystal bowl was given for the healers to use to wash their hands before doing healing during the service. What a wonderful thought and such a beautiful gift. The loan of a pair of Brass chimes were used during Richard’s guided meditation to end the meditation. The resonance from the two pieces of brass was something to experience!

Richard opened in prayer, then did a talk on a channeling she wrote during the week. We will see if she is willing to have it put into the “Info Used” section. Helen also did the healing prayer and read the names written in the healing book. Richard did the meditation after several people got up to share something from their Spiritual Journey. Including some newcomers!! How wonderful that they felt comfortable enough to do so.! After the good will offering song, Richard did some overhead readings for several people and from what was later stated, the readings were very well received and correct.

After Helen said a prayer to close the service we all had a cuppa and a get-together to introduce ourselves to one another. It was encouraging to hear people say they felt welcome and at home and one person in particular say they felt they and finally “come home”. How great it is to experience this and for us to know that our Church can have such a wonderful effect on newcomers. Spirit works to ensure the needs of all are met, one way and/or the other!!!!

Love and light to you all and do come visit us and experience who we are!!!!

The afternoon Service went well. We had eight adults and a youngster present (we love having children) with 3 new faces. All were warmly welcomed and the service went well with lots of laughter and enjoyment by all.  We started with a song and then Helen did the opening prayer, her Crystal talk and also the Healing prayer and read the names from the Healing Book for those in need of absent Healing. We followed our usual order of Service with the Meditation led by Richard as well as his Medium’s talk. We had Healing with four people availing themselves of this (wonderful!!!) We introduced a new idea put forward by the Development group also. We invited members to share what has been good Spiritually for them; after Richard did his talk on Choice. Two people did share and we were happy to hear their contributions. You will have to attend to find out what people share!! Richard did Psychometry (using jewelery and personal items) readings for everyone. During announcements Helen asked for people to keep an eye out for cheap usable candles for use at Church. Afterwards we all had a cuppa before going our own ways. It was a wonderful afternoon in which 2 hours seemed to disappear in no time at all.

LOVE AND LIGHT TO YOU ALL

We had a wonderful night Saturday!! The Rev Micheal English was the guest speaker and he also did a demonstration of Chakra balancing on a volunteer. He was received with eagerness and enjoyment by all present.

The usual service format was followed and we all enjoyed the Chrystal reading from Helen and Richard’s Guided Meditation. Announcements included the good news that the cost of insurance and affiliation fees is now covered and a cheque will be sent to the A.S.U. at the end of this week.

It was also announced that one member of our church has very kindly offered to organize raffles as fund raising toward our ongoing costs for next years insurances etc.It was also announced that a mini psychic fair would be held before the middle of the year as well as a workshop with the Rev Micheal for fund raising for our Church.

Richard also announced the formation of a formal committee to meet on regular basis to ensure the church decision making process is done according to the wishes of those who are constantly in attendance. It has been a desire of Richard and Helen to form the committee but it has take time for us to have the appropriate number of regular attenders to fill the positions needed for a formal committee. Richard suggested he, as Minister would probably fill the position of Chair-person; without voting rights. This too will be decided by the committee.

Our little church is growing and becoming stronger as we progress each month and each year. We look forward to this continual growth and support as we go on from strength to strength.
