What a fantastic night.

Richard was ordained into the Ministry by the Chair of the ASU of Churces’ College, Rev Barbara Moxham as a Reverend Minister.  Helen opened the Service and handed over to the Rev Barb to conduct the Ordination Service. Rev. Richard then held a short Service with songs, a meditation and short demonstration after a talk thanking everyone involved in the Service and Ceremony and the past several years. Rev Richard has spent a long time reaching for and attaining this wonderful achievement of being Ordained and a hearty congratulation was offered from all present.

There was a wonderful gathering of almost 40 people to witness Richard’s Ordination and, we feel sure, a good time was had by all present.  After the Service we all shared in a cuppa and nibblies and Rev Richard cut a cake to celebrate his ordination.

Many of the regular attenders helped out in individual ways and thanks to them too. Sandwiches made, hall readied and cleared, and of course the special duties carried out during the Ordination when Richard was presented as a candidate by two who have been with us since the inciption of the Spiritualist Church of Bowral; and the reading of the Seven Principles by another committed member. Much thanks to many people indeed.

Congratulations Reverend Richard Milne and well done! May your continued work be as well received as that you have already given with much Love Light and Compassion to those who hold you dear to thier hearts.

The following text is what was read for the Development Group. The author is Helen Milne and portrays her views on the subject. Some content may be paraphrased or re-used with permission. Some content is directly from the National Federation of Spiritual Healers in the UK(reproduced by permission). This does not mean it is the only way that this subject may be interpreted, as each Spiritualist is an Individual and will read, comprehend and understand any written information differently. This is the beauty of Spiritualism; no one person can claim to have all the answers!

WHAT IS SPIRITUAL HEALING?

Spiritual Healing is the ability of one or more persons to be the instrument or means, of restoring mental, emotional and physical health to another, through the application of spiritual energies from a non-physical dimension.

As far back as the Egyptian Age and many centuries before, man has, in various religions, practiced Spiritual Healing. This aspect of Divine power has never confined itself to any one faith, creed or nation and it is wide-spread in many faiths today. To say that healing is an art or gift is misleading. Rather, it is a faculty that lies dormant in us all. Most people who have love and compassion for others would be able to develop this divine energy. It is a simple act, as Jesus showed us and is one of God’s ways of revealing man’s spiritual inheritance.

Spiritual healing takes place within God’s Laws. The whole UNIVERSE is the result of law governed forces: the healer seeks to learn and attune him or herself with the particular laws that govern the energies of healing. These healing energies or forces have many names. A Christian may call it the ‘HOLY SPIRIT’, others the ‘LIFE FORCE’ or ‘NATURE’, ‘LIGHT ESSENCE’ or ‘COSMIC ENERGY’, but the name does not matter.

The question is – how does one person use this healing energy to bring about a cure in another. As the doctor, the chiropractor and so on, adjust the alignment of the physical body by means of pills, medicine and manipulation, so Spiritual Healing adjusts the various parts of the body, but by different means. The healer uses a spiritual method that works on the mind, the emotions and the physical body, all at the same time. The healer may, or may not consciously “see” or feel the healing power flowing. This does not seem to matter, as it is his intentions that are all important. He must have the intention to heal and believe that he can, that he or she is the instrument that brings healing to the patient, at the time of the healing, whether it is contact healing (in the presence of) or absent healing (by thought, prayer and meditation).

The healing force obeys the Law of Free Will. If the healer continues to give healing and comfort to the patient, the healing force will help by building around the patient a reservoir of love, but will not necessarily effect a cure without the sanction of the patients Ego (i.e. at a deeper subconscious soul level). The true and real desire of the soul, or ego, is of paramount importance in effecting a lasting cure. A healer must obey the law of free will and never force his good intentions on anyone. We must be ever ready to fulfill his obligations to those who ASK. The patient also has to obey the law if he wants to be cured – “Ask and ye shall receive”.

Do not confuse Spiritual Healing with faith healing. Faith has an important part to play, especially on the part of the healer, and to some extent with the patient in contact healing. However, in the case of babies and animals, which are not consciously aware of the healing endeavor, many cures also occur. The case for absent healing shows clearly that faith on the part of patient is not essential, as the patient is often unaware that healing is even being given. Many healing cures are brought about in this way.

The patient may not know how Spiritual Healing works, but this does not matter, as he will soon become aware that the healer has the ability to help. This will often be felt by the patient as if a great load has been lifted from him or her, accompanied by a feeling of warmth, peace and well being. I addition to this Spiritual Healing has the ability to override the deficiencies of the physical body by bringing about a changed attitude to life.

Spiritual Healing is a great channel of Love and Divine Energy. It is Universal and is of Divine origin. It is part of Father/Mother God, Great Spirit’s plan to unfold the latent, inner divinity of man and woman himself/herself.

WHAT IS AN AURA http://www.spiritualchurch.net/what-is-an-aura/ http://www.spiritualchurch.net/what-is-an-aura/#comments Tue, 09 Sep 2008 07:21:51 +0000 Spiritually Rich http://spiritualchurch.net/?p=82

The following text is what was read for the Development Group. The author is Richard Milne and portrays his views on the subject. What is an Aura?

The human aura is an energy or light field that reflects the subtle life energies within the body. These energies make us what we are and in turn are affected by our surroundings and life style. The aura can reflect our health, mental activity and emotional state. It can also show disease - often long before the onset of symptoms

Close to the skin is the etheric aura. It is seen as a pale, narrow band that outlines the body, usually no more than half an inch wide. It looks like pale smoke clinging to the body. This is the visible part of the etheric body in it’s contracted state. During sleep the etheric body expands greatly and opens to absorb and store cosmic energy. The etheric is better named the vitality sheath or energy body. After sleep it contracts, forming a dense sheath around the body close to the skin.

The main aura is banded around the body - strata like. Imagine a person with thick, coloured hoops of light dropped over them and you get the idea. These colours emanate from the chakras. Basic energy is drawn up from the planet through the feet and fed into the chakras, much like a plant does with water. Each chakra is a transformer that generates energy of a different type and colour. The strength of each chakra depends on the person’s nature and life style. Together these chakras generate the dominant hue of the aura.

The main aura is photo-sensitive, it reacts and expands in light. The aura’s chakra system can be likened to a tree. Energy/nutrient is drawn up through the feet/roots and fed through the body/trunk to the chakras/leaves.

Many experts suggest people can be classed by the basic hue, or the dominant colour, of their aura. For example, Blue means a highly spiritual person, trustworthy, honest. Orange means an emotional type of person etc… this can be misleading. The aura is a complex and changeable energy field and cannot be judged so simply.

Some experts say the aura is sensitive to colour. It reacts to the colours of clothing and to that of its surroundings. This accounts for our natural likes and dislikes when it comes to choosing the colours that surround us.

The effect of colour on the emotions is well known and are they widely used in hospitals and institutions to calm agitated people and put them at ease. Pink is the most frequently used colour for this. It is the emotional colour of love and happiness. If you can, watch a mother’s aura when she first looks into the eyes of her new baby, and falls head over heels in love. At that special, happy moment, you will see this most lovely of auras in all its glory.

There is a whole science devoted to the use of colours. This is called Colour Healing or Colour Therapy.

It is impossible to get a clear view of the aura through clothing. The auric colours of the clothes react with the person’s aura, causing interference that blocks and changes it. For example: A Blue shirt will flood the natural aura with Yellow. Even neutral coloured clothing will block and dim the aura making it difficult to see.

Disease: This shows up in the aura in many different ways, sometimes weeks before any physical symptoms. An ear infection, for example, will show up as a shadow over the side of the head before any symptoms appear. This shadow will gradually change into a murky, khaki Green. As the infection takes hold, it will become shot through with Red and Orange flecks. Khaki and murky Green with Red and Orange flecks, is commonly seen with any infection.

Death: When a person is dying the aura changes dramatically. Some have observed the auras of people with terminal cancer in the weeks prior to death. First the aura fades and weakens, and then, a week or so before death it expands, changing into a beautiful pale Blue shot through with Silver sparks

Meaning of Clean Colours of the Aura (colours of the rainbow, bright, shiny, monochromatic colours):

Purple: indicates spiritual thoughts. Purple is never a strong point in the Aura. It appears only as temporary “clouds” and “flames”, indicating truly spiritual thoughts.

Blue: Balanced existence, sustaining life, eased nerve system, transmitting forces and energy. People with blue strong point in their Aura are relaxed, balanced and feel ready to live in a cave and survive. They are born survivors. Blue thought is a thought about relaxing the nerve system to achieve the balance of the mind or a thought about surviving. Electric blue can override any other colour in the Aura, when the person is receiving and/or transmitting information in a telepathic communication.
Turquoise: indicates dynamic quality of being, highly energized personality, capable of projection, influencing other people. People with turquoise strong point in their Aura can do many things simultaneously and are good organizers. They feel bored when forced to concentrate on one thing. People love bosses with turquoise Auras, because such bosses explain their goals and influence their team rather than demand executing their commands. Turquoise thought is a thought about organizing and influencing others.

Green: restful, modifying energy, natural healing ability. All natural healers should have it. People with a green strong point in their Auras are natural healers. The stronger the green Aura, the better the healer. They also love gardening and usually have a “green hand” - anything grows for them. Being in a presence of a person with a strong and green Aura is a very peaceful and restful experience. Green thought indicates a restful state and healing.

Yellow: joy, freedom, non-attachment, freeing or releasing vital forces. People who glow yellow are full of inner joy, very generous and not attached to anything. Yellow halo around the head: high spiritual development. A signature of a spiritual teacher. Do not accept spiritual teachings from anyone who does not have such a yellow halo. It is suggested Buddha and Christ had yellow halos extending to their arms. Today it is rare on Earth to find a person with a halo larger than 1 inch. Yellow halo appears as a result of a highly active brow chakra (which can be seen glowing with violet by many people at workshops). Highly spiritual people stimulate the brow chakra continuously for many years, because they always have intensive spiritual thoughts in their minds. When this chakra is observed when highly active, a yellow halo appears around it, surrounding the entire head. Yellow thought indicates a moment of joy and contentment.

Orange: uplifting and absorbing. Inspiring. A sign of power. Ability and/or desire to control people. When orange becomes a strong point, it usually contributes to a yellow halo, which then becomes gold, indicating not only a spiritual teacher, but a powerful spiritual teacher, someone capable of demonstrating his/her unique abilities. Orange thought is a thought about exercising power or a desire to control people.

Red: materialistic thoughts, thoughts about the physical body. Predominantly red Aura indicates a materialistically oriented person.

Pink (=purple + red): love (in a spiritual sense). To obtain a clean pink, you need to mix the purple (the highest frequency we perceive) with red (the lowest frequency). Pink Aura indicates that the person achieved a perfect balance between spiritual awareness and the material existence. The most advanced people have not only a yellow halo around the head (a permanent strong point in the Aura) but also a large pink Aura extending further away. The pink colour in the Aura is quite rare on Earth and appears only as a temporary thought, never as a strong point in the Aura.

Meaning of Dirty colours:
(colours appearing darker than background more like a smoke than a glow)

Brown: unsettling, distracting, materialistic, negating spirituality.

Gray: dark thoughts, depressing thoughts, unclear intentions, presence of a dark side of personality.

Sulphur (colour of a mustard): pain or lack of ease, anger

White: serious disease, artificial stimulation (drugs). Why does the white colour in the Aura indicate problems? White colour is like a noise, rather than a set of harmonious tones (monochromatic colours). It is impossible to “tune” the noise to an orchestra playing harmonious music, hence the white Aura indicates a lack of harmony in the body and mind. Nature, which we are a part of, is harmonious. This harmony comes in discrete vibration “tones” or harmonics, partially described by the modern quantum physics.
Several hours before the death, the Aura becomes white, and greatly increases in intensity. For this reason in most cultures “death” is depicted in WHITE (not black), because in the past, people could actually see a white Aura before death. It seems that our ancestors knew much more than we are prepared to admit.

This is the beauty of Spiritualism; no one person can claim to have all the answers!

WHAT IS A SPIRITUALIST?

We have many thoughts on this question and all are wrong and all are correct; depending upon which direction you are looking or listening from.

Simply stated, a Spiritualist is someone who believes that life does not end with the ending of our physical existence upon this plane. Which plane? This worldly one upon which we are experiencing our individual physical journey of course.

Rather, a Spiritualist believes that after our physical body passes on, our spiritual self (our soul, spirit etc) carries on forward to the next plane, dimension, or the spiritual plane. There it may decide to abide a while as pure spirit; or it may decide to take on another role.

Another role our spiritual being or essence may take is dependent upon many things, including our learning from this particular journey. But, we may decide upon a role of being a guide to someone else on a physical journey, a guardian angel, another physical journey or all the above on a different dimension or planet.

A Spiritualist can be a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Mohammedan, Callithumpian or any or every other religious or philosophical persuasion.

A Spiritualist also believes that once we have passed over to that other level, plane, place of being etc; that we here still living in this physical plane, are able to communicate with those passed over. “I can see dead people”, and talk to and with them. We can receive messages from them also, to pass on to those still of this dimension to hear. The possibilities are myriad and seemingly endless.

Spiritualism has no Dogma. Spiritualism has no Doctrine. Spiritualism has no rules and/or set defining tenets of belief structure. We all have the same philosophy however of sharing with like-minded peoples and sharing and giving of and to one another.

We, as Spiritualists, have one real goal in life I think. That is to ensure every other soul we come in contact with is enriched or helped by coming into contact with us as individuals; or as a group of like minded persons who come together to shed love and light into and about this world we live on.

We have a set of guidelines that are used only as that, a guide to how we can centre ourselves in our everyday life as a Spiritualist. For everything we do in this existence affects us and others. These guidelines themselves are open to interpretation and to being re-written to reflect our modern way of thinking and working with Spirit. Everything changes and when it does not, it stagnates and becomes stale and unpalatable.

So what is a Spiritualist? You are one, I am one, the next person you meet is one. The difference between myself and others, in the main, is that I KNOW I am a Spiritualist.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY http://www.spiritualchurch.net/personal-responsibility/ http://www.spiritualchurch.net/personal-responsibility/#comments Tue, 09 Sep 2008 07:20:29 +0000 Spiritually Rich http://spiritualchurch.net/?p=80

The following text is what was read for the Development Group. The author is Richard Milne and portr his views on the subject. Some content may be paraphrased or re-used with permission. This does not mean it is the only way that this subject may be interpreted, as each Spiritualist is an Individual and will read,       comprehend and understand any written information differently. This is the beauty of Spiritualism; no one person can claim to have all the answers!

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

We are all responsible for our own journey. On whatever plane you wish to look at it; we must take responsibility for our journey.

Spiritually, we cannot rely upon others to make our decisions for us. Nor can we depend upon others to walk our path for us, lead us along our path, or decide which direction to take at a juncture in our path.

We cannot expect another to be responsible for what we do Spiritually, how we do it or when we do it. We must all be responsible for our own decisions, how we make them, how we carry out that decision, when we make it and how we react to its ramifications.

If we are indeed to grow in our Spiritual journey, we need to be aware of the fact that we alone are the ones who must bear the responsibility for what we do and who we are; and most importantly, what and whom we become for making those decisions.

It is of no use sitting back and expecting others to make our decisions for us; and then blaming them, for our lack of responsibility in carrying out that which needs to be done by us, to grow.

Growth comes with commitment. We must commit to doing our own work, developing our own methodology; based on the advice and teachings and experiences of those who have made the journey before us. Those whom we decide to follow and seek advice from, are there only to share what they have learned. It is then your decision and your responsibility to do what is best suited to your journey; with that knowledge which has shared.

I cannot sit and do your meditation that you may require to lift your vibration. Nor is it my responsibility to ensure you are doing your daily routine. You and you alone are responsible for how you achieve that goal. You are not responsible for ensuring your partner; loved one etc is doing his or her own growth either. If the individual decides not to do what is required for their own Spiritual growth, that person alone has made this decision.

Nor should we attempt to seek out guidance from another with the idea that if it does not work it is their fault for giving false teaching. We are indeed individuals and what works for one or some does not necessarily work for all. We must find out that which is for us to pursue at this particular juncture of our journey; pursue it, and accomplish the goals set by this particular task for enrichment.

Take responsibility for your life’s journey both Spiritually and physically. If your need is to meditate on a daily basis to lift your vibration, then do it daily. Find the place you need to go to, to enable the meditation to take place. Find the music that best suits you for this time of meditation. Decide for yourself the best time of the day for it to be best utilized. If your need is to gain more information about a particular subject, take the responsibility of gaining that information. Ask another who has been there or knows the way to achieve the goal. Find a place to discover your own source of knowledge. Ask your guides.

Every opportunity for learning something new has its attendant Spirit Guides. They may be Archangels, Angels, Masters or Lady Masters, Guides or Spiritual Teachers. You need to find out for yourself who is with you. If it is for you to know, you will be made aware of who is with you. For every lesson we learn there is someone on the Spirit Plane wanting to give help, guidance, teaching and confirmation. We have to be responsible for finding out who is with us. This can be attained through meditation or many other means from another Spiritually aware, like-minded individual; prepared to give a reading, channel or give a tarot reading to help you discover that which you need to know. But you and you alone are responsible for making this happen.

So as you travel your Spiritual path, remember you alone are responsible for the manner in which your Journey is taken. You alone are the one who will decide the speed, direction and difficulty of your path. The easy way may well be the long and most arduous. The difficult seeming may well be the fastest if more challenging means to attain your goal.

Decide what you want, seek it out, search your awareness and then take responsibility for finding the answers. Own your own growth. Own your own awareness. Own you own responsibility.

WALK YOUR OWN PATH

Remember that no matter how hard life seems to be for you, you and you alone are walking the path you are on. What you feel, only you feel. What you experience, only you experience. Others may well be walking alongside you and sharing the journey and some of the experiences and feelings, but only you have what is yours.

If you are learning to knit in a group of 10 people, are you all going to be at the same level of ability? If you are learning to turn wood on a lathe with 10 other people, are you all going to be able to make a set of Russian Dolls after the first week? No? Ok

We, on this plane as humans in solid form, tend to expect others to feel the same way we do on an given “normal” day; and to understand absolutely everything we are experiencing and therefore understand “where we are coming from”. We also seem to think we can give ease to others by telling them we “know” what they are going through.

Unless you have experienced the lost of a close loved one to a disease, you cannot possibly feel empathy with someone who has. Empathy is a heartfelt understanding of emotion. Unlike sympathy which is heartfelt WISH to understand and give ease to the person we care about. Unless you have experienced the loss of a child at birth, you cannot have empathy with someone who has. Nor can you, as a man, have empathy with a woman who has lost a child early in her pregnancy. Only another woman, who has shared this experience, can fully empathize. You, as a man, can have empathy with a father whose partner has lost a child this way. As a man, it is also alright to cry over such losses of loved ones at whatever stage of the journey; old, young or unborn.

I have lived a life of many ups and downs, depressive times, exuberant highs, and normal everyday living. My partner and soul mate has shared much of this with me. She has been the only person who can fully understand what it is to be with a partner like me. Just as I am the only one who can understand what she has had to contend with by being my partner.

Whatever we do during our journey on this plane this time around; remember that no matter what we go through, it is ours. We can share with those who have had similar life journeys. Some will walk the path behind us and may seek advice. Others will walk the pathway ahead of us and be prepared to offer advice if asked. Others will walk beside us for a time and empathize with us as they do so. But no matter who is where, when, how or with us at any given time; we walk our own pathway just as they walk theirs.

So the next time you are speaking and sharing with someone and have the desire to say “I know what you mean”; think about if you really do? Perhaps you do and can empathize and give much needed comfort and advice if asked for. If not you would do more good saying “I wish I could say I understand, but unfortunately I cannot for I have not had that experience as you have”. Or words to that affect.

Walk your own Path and enjoy it. Walk beside another sometimes and enjoy with them. Always remember though; your each upon your own path and journey and are experiencing a unique pathway.

PSYCHIC ATTACK

CLEARING THE EFFECT OF NEGATIVE INFLUENCES: There are many forms of negative attack that every human being is effected by throughout their lifetime. Some are indirect, covert and others are very direct and intentional. there are many processes that we can work with to eliminate the effect and influences of other people’s negativity, and below is a list of such processes tha I am sure you will find valuable at some point in the future.

PSYCHIC ATTACK: Psychic attack can be created from jealousy, greed or somone wishing yoiu ill; perhaps even desiringsomething that you have.

PSYCHIC THOUGHT FORMS: This is another form of Psychic Attack. It can be through the individuals desire at a subconscious level of having/ attracting/ creating/ wanting something; that this is set up in a thought intent. Often it is not a conscious action, but more at a subconscious level that the desire is manifested and then activated through thought.

Negative intent by an individual can also be acioned by a conscious decision and this is when someone blatantly wants to harm or hurt another individual.

Out of the way to destroy. - This is where yoiu make a conscious decisions to harm someone. This is where spells, dark forces and witches come into it.

SPIRITUAL PROTECTION: There are many forms of protection that we can work with. I am confident you will find the ones that I have listed below; invaluable.

CREATING A BUFFER ZONE: Protects you from the conscious negative intent of an individual. - Bring down a vibrant gold light around your aura and your thought intent is to have it reflect that gold ray outward away from you. Thought intent inside this is to deflect negativity with love back to its source of origin. In sending the negative thought intent back with love, we ask the individual(s) sending it to consider their true motives; and to consider the negativity they are working with. It will often give that person a conscience and change their action.

PROCESS FOR ELIMINATING GREED, JEALOUSY AND ENVY: More of an unconscious process by an individual. - Bring down a vibrancy of gold light wrapping around you with an outer shell of blue and the find droplet of silver, just like rain within the blue, reflecting love and acceptance outwardly. This will send the sense of unconditional love to the other person, deflating their negative thinking at an internal level and opening them to a more harmonious relationship with the world in general.

SELF PROTECTION AND BALANCE: Use with crystals. The best crystals that we can work with for honoring ones’ truth, and protection one from all forms of negativity is Tuquoise. Placing Black tourmaline on window sills in bedrooms will deflect negativity back to its sources and remove it from our environment.

SHIELDS OF PROTECTION: We can set up shields of protection to block negativity from hitting out people. We can do this by repeating the following “I call on my Higher Self and ask that you automatically place a shield in front of anyone that I am angry with, that I am thinking negative thoughts toward, that I am projecting anger toward. I ask that the shield automatically be placed in front of them to protect them and that the energy be transmuted into something very positive and used for planetary healing; or for whatever it is that you wish to work with healing.” - Anything you wish to nominate that energy to be used for, then nominate it.

PSYCHIC ATTACK / NEGATIVE ATTACK: A true “Psychic Attack” is designed to cause injury, illness or setback to a person. It can only be carried out by an “Adept” through the use of spells or incantations. When the average person says “I wish you would get run over by a bus”, it isn’t likely to happen; but the person to whom it is directed may feel some of the negative energy but generally cant cause any harm or long-term damage. An “Adept” that works in the light would never invoke a psychic attack because it would invoke Karma and the possibility of invoking the Karmic Tribunal. A psychic attack would be self-destructive to the “Adept”.

“Negative Attack” is when we verbally attack someone else. That is a negative attack. For example, anytime we make a false statement deliberately designed to damage someone else’s reputation, we are negatively attacking them. - People often do this in relationships and I have sen it happen on numerous occasions where someone feels insecure in a relationship and another friend, who really likes their partner, decides that this is the time to strike! What Happens? - She goes up to her best friend and says “Oh, someone saw him out with someone after he dropped you off last Saturday night, etc”. She plants a seed. Seeds are very hard to remove, even if you trust implicitly. If somebody said to you (you’ve just started dating this guy) “He was recently seen at the clinic for sexually transmitted diseases, and he has a track record of dating more than one woman at a time”; and this was a female that really fancied your guy and was trying to get you to dump him, instinctively, you’d drop him like a hot cake.

PROTECTION

WHY DO WE NEED IT? WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Protection is used to keep away unwanted energy, whether psychic or physical. The protection will change depending on the situation or circumstances. There are different levels of Protection depending on what you are doing and your won level of Spirituality: you can set up guidelines so that your protection is automatically in place in particular situations. These can include white light filters, chain mail, chicken wire, gold shield. purple shroud or asking St Michael’s shield of protection. Protection should not be taken lightly, because it can protect not only you but other members of the family plus your friends.

One form of protection is White Lighting yourself and your property. This involves imagining a white cocoon enveloping whatever you are protecting White lighting will need to be up-graded as your Spiritual level increases; because you shine more brightly and can attract higher levels of psychic attack. When placing the protection, make sure it covers your aura, not just your body. Another simple form of protection is crossing your arms and legs, as this draws your aura in closer to your body. This is effective at a very basic level but should not be used in everyday situations because it can and will block of positivity.

Gold Chain Mail is another example. Be aware when you put it on as it can be very heavy (seeing that it is very heavy there is nothing that stops you from asking your guides from making it light weight). It is only used during “ghost busts” or “energy clearings”. The Gold Chain Mail forms an impenetrable barrier through which nothing negative can penetrate. To put Gold Chain Mail around you, picture the White Light flowing around you; now slowly change the White Light into Gold. Then imagine he Gold turning into Gold Chain Mail (you can imagine Gold Chain to be like the mesh worn by knights when they went into battle).

There are many forms of Protection and there is no set rule that says you cannot invent your own; try creating you own and ask your Guides to help you try it out.

TO PROTECT YOURSELF YOU MUST REMEMBER TWO THINGS:

1. Never believe that you will be harmed by anything or anybody because you are an ageless, eternal soul.

2. Practice fearlessness by never being afraid of anything or letting he imagination run wild by imagining something happening to your body to harm it

PSYCHIC PROTECTION PRAYER

I ask the Divine Light Forces for the protection against all that is not of the Light and for the healing on all levels.

LOVE AND LIGHT BE WITH YOU ALL AT ALL TIMES ON YOUR JOURNEY

The following text is what was read for the Development Group. The author is Richard Milne and portrays his views on the subject. Some content may be paraphrased or re-used with permission. This does not mean it is the only way that this subject may be interpreted, as each Spiritualist is an Individual and will read, comprehend and understand any written information differently. This is the beauty of Spiritualism; no one person can claim to have all the answers!

I AM THAT I AM

This simple statement has caused many vigorous discussions regarding its true meaning.

I do not propose to tell you its meaning. I wish only to share what it means to me. It is then for you to decide how you will or will not accept my words and understanding its meaning to me. We all hear the same words differently. It is what makes us Spiritualists. The individuality and permission that we give ourselves to believe and understand freely makes us so.

I Am That I Am. To some it says not a thing. To others they understand not a whit of its meaning. Others neither know nor care of its existence. For others it is a way of life.

Let me share what it means then for me. I am. This IS what I am. So, in that case I am WHAT I am. Not the same thing. I Am THAT I Am is, for me referring to something spiritual, elemental and soul edifying. Another word used to simplify its meaning is God. But God is not enough to encompass its entirety.

When we pass over we believe, as spiritualists, that our soul, essence, spirit; passes over to another dimension yes? For me that means we go somewhere. That somewhere to my understanding (and as Spirit has shown me) is this: Our spirit passes through to the spirit dimension and becomes a part of the I Am. So what is this I Am? The I Am is the culmination or gathering of all spirits who are not currently occupied in a physical journey, being an angel or arch-angel, a master or lady master, a guide or acting through a medium to share knowledge. Or any other myriad varied tasks and roles we take on in spirit form.

This I Am is the gathering together of all our souls. It is the way we are able then to share all the lessons, feelings, and emotions and so on and so on, of our last physical journey, or spiritual task. For when we enter this I Am (imagine it as a misty cloud of unending dimensions), we immediately impart our accumulated knowledge and experiences to the I Am as we become a part of it. For we are absorbed into its being, its oneness of all. We become one with the millions of other spirit beings who make up the vastness of the I Am and in so doing we share in all of their experiences and knowledge garnered by them.

We may decide to remain in this realm for any period of time as we understand it in the physical realm. It may pass as a blink of the spiritual eye, and a hundred years pass on our physical realm before we decide to come back and take another journey to learn a different lesson or lessons. We may decide to return for the sheer joy of the physical existence or any other reason we can imagine(and maybe cannot imagine as physical beings). That same blink may simply be a day, or a week or……..

So. The becoming a part of the I Am and being one with so many others is an existence of its own. As part of this I Am; I am existing as a part of its entirety and am therefore indeed the I Am itself in essence. So I am literally a part OF the I Am. Ergo I Am That I Am. You may also say I suppose, ungrammatically; I Are That I Am and point to the I Am as you say I Are THAT.

LOVE N LIGHT TO YOU ALL

CHAKRAS

There are many Chakra points in the human body. The main seven are from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.
